What was your first reaction to George
Reeves and/or the Superman series? I
was about 6 years old (1956) when I first remember TAOS. George
was totally believeable as the Man of Steel and I loved his
Uniform and wished I could fly and be invulnerable, too!!
What are your 10 favorite episodes?
The
Mind Machine
Crime
Wave
The
Deserted Village
The
Face and the Voice
Ghost
Wolf
Mystery
in Wax
Divide
and Conquer
The
Haunted Lighthouse
The
Big Forget
The Evil Three

What are some of your favorite scenes
from the series? There are way
too many to mention here, but I really loved the 'take-off's' in
1951........ the wire ones. Both George and George Fisher were
yanked away and it almost seemed like 'fast-speed'........ it
happened so fast and appeared so realistic. I also love the
"Preview" segments from '51 ~ back then, they were
almost as exciting as the episodes and they still hold up well
today. The fast-paced scenes and Bill Kennedy's narration were
first-rate!!
What interesting mistakes or inside
jokes have you detected? (LOL)

Aside from Superman/Kent, who was your
favorite character on the show and why? I
liked John Hamilton. He was great as the crusty, ornery "Chief"
and his exchanges with Olsen were superb. Also, underneath it
all, he really loved his staff of three!
How do you view the series today, as an
adult, differently from when you were a child? Aside
from knowing all the episodes by heart today, they still bring
back that joy I felt back then and for about 26 minutes, I'm that
6 year old kid all over again!!! I'll never tire of these 104
'Adventures'.....!!!
