Hi Jim,

I am a huge Superman fan and have a 10-month-old daughter named Lois Lane. Of course, I jumped at the chance to meet Ms Noel Neill at Wizard World Texas in November, 2007. I couldn't wait to introduce my Lois to the original Lois Lane! Ms Neill was the nicest lady and actually thought I was pulling her leg at first when I told her my daughter's name.

The three of us got a picture together and I had her sign a photo for my daughter. She inscribed it: "To Lois Lane. Best Wishes, Noel Neill - Lois Lane Number 1". Isn't that sweet?! I had my arms full with the baby and she even insisted on helping me load up the stroller. What a classy lady. It just made my year and I hope my little Lois appreciates the memento.

I attended Supercon in Ft. Lauderdale (November, 2006), and had the privilege of meeting our First Lady, Miss Noel Neill, and her Boswell and all around good guy Larry Ward. It was a wonderful experience! I spent about two hours with them. They couldn't have been nicer or more gracious!! Having been a fan of Noel’s for literally half a century, it was fantastic to see her in person. She looks marvelous. It was quite obvious that she was enjoying herself with her many fans. Margot Kidder was at an adjacent table, and Noel was outdrawing her five to one easily. Margot was busying herself with a crossword puzzle, and once clue which stumped her was the MGM logo. I supplied the answer, "Ara, Gratis, Artis", which made her happy.

Larry had to run a brief errand, so for about fifteen precious minutes I had a private conversation with Noel. I said as little as possible, which isn't easy for me, and listened to Noel recount some wonderful anecdotes about TAOS and its cast members.

The time flew by all too quickly. I finally left with a handshake from Larry and a hug and kiss from Noel.

If Noel is making an appearance in your neck of the woods, do yourself a favor and go see her. She is a great lady. I know that this has been a day I shall never forget!
