And now, another exciting episode in the
Adventures of Superman...

Thursday August 16, 1951 was the tenth day of filming the second set of episodes which included “The Mind Machine,” “No Holds Barred,” “The Birthday Letter,” “The Stolen Costume,” and “Mystery In Wax.”

Players:
John Hamilton
Robert Shayne
Mira McKinney
Lester Sharpe

If I was correct about Wednesday, then the majority of the museum scenes were shot on Thursday. Regardless, all of "Mystery In Wax" was completed in two days, August 15 and 16.

Selena (Mira McKinney) surely is a force to be reckoned with, but she's no match for Superman and Henderson, and I love the way Superman hands her over to the inspector. He looks none to happy about it though. The manner in which Henderson and Kent enter the museum is worth noting: They break in, and Kent enters first! Only in 50s TV, I suppose.

The newspaper headline that appears in the episode mentions five supposed suicides, but there were only four: John Martin, Herbert Fairweather, John Hurley, and Perry White. Perhaps five were planned, but time or money necessitated a change.
