And now, another exciting episode in the
Adventures of Superman...

August 12, 1951 was a Sunday, and the Superman cast/crew were again taking a well-deserved day off. Let us then have a look at another "Superman Moment" from the first season. This scene, from "Czar of the Underworld," was filmed on October 5, 1951, near the end of season one production.

I love Dinelli's logic... "He was already dying. I only put him out of his misery." Talk about brotherly love. And when I was a kid, I relished those moments when Superman or Kent almost revealed his dual identity.

"Czar" also gave us a good behind the camera. Check out the furniture to the right of the screen as Henderson makes his way to Frank Dinelli who has fallen from the scaffolding.
