And now, another exciting episode in the
Adventures of Superman...

Wednesday August 22, 1951

Supporting Players
Ben Bancroft (Golem)
Housley Stevenson (Pop Pogalse)
Fred Sherman (Mr Simms)
Ed Cobb (Lafe Reiser)
Ray Bennett (Stan Hacker)

"Rescue" received all the attention today (except for some shots of the Golem in "Deserted Village"). Some scenes with Housely Stevenson were filmed. Those would include Mr. Simms' condemnation of Pogalse's mine, Pogalse's argument with Stan, and the final scene after he's rescued from the mine. Stevenson would return the following Wednesday (August 29) for his scenes with Lois inside the mine.

There is no way to determine any other particular scenes, and again, all we can say with certainty is that parts of "Rescue" were filmed on August 21, 22, 25, and 29 with Stevenson's scenes outside the mine done today.

Likewise, we can't know when Clark's trip back to Carbide was filmed, but I wanted to include these two images because the one gives us an especially good look at part of Forty Acres in the background.
