And now, another exciting episode in the
Adventures of Superman...

September 12, 1951 – Wednesday.

George Reeves was once again in costume on this date to round up the two would be robbers outside the Metropolis Museum and to witness the apprehension of Bet-A-Million Butler. I don't think Reeves enjoyed the bit with the car though. Those exhaust fumes must have been nasty.

Notes: IMDB lists the taller of the two henchmen as Ted Ryan, but the call sheet says "Greg Martell," and indeed he does seem to be the same actor who later plays Busher in "The Stolen Elephant" with Greg Moffett. Ted Ryan is also listed on IMDB as the actor who played Luke Maynard's friend in the closing scenes of "The Big Squeeze." Clearly he is not the robber in "The Human Bomb," but I'm not familiar with Ryan, so I can’t be sure.

Greg Martell in “The Human Bomb” and “The Stolen Elephant”

“The Big Squeeze” – Ted Ryan on right?
