October 10, 1951 – Wednesday Good morning, boys and girls. We don't have x-ray or telescopic vision, but thanks to some documents, we do have something akin to historic vision. And as we peer into the past today we see Jimmy and Mr. White enjoying what starts out as a pleasant fishing trip. Supporting Players:
Almost all of "The Evil Three" was filmed on this Wednesday and Thursday (with Jonathan Hale returning on Saturday for the process shots at the cliff, in front of the hotel, and in the woods). There's no way to determine which particular scenes were filmed on either of the two days, but it might be reasonable to assume that Superman didn't come on the scene until Thursday. And if George's scenes as Kent were also scheduled for Thursday, then he could have had this day off. That means most of the scenes with Jimmy, White, and the "evil three" were filmed on this Wednesday. It appears there were some last minute cast changes to this episode. According to the cast sheet, Minerva Urical (sic) was scheduled to play Elsa, and Howard Freeman was originally cast as the colonel.
We'll return to the "Adventures of Superman" in just a moment. Just three more days to go... Next: Posted:
