 It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Ben Welden, who died at the Motion Picture Home in Woodland Hills, California on October 17, 1997.

Mr. Welden appeared in eight episodes of The Adventures of Superman, spanning all six seasons:

1951 -- "Mind Machine" as Curly

1953 -- "The Dog Who Knew Superman" as Hank
" The Machine That Could Plot Crimes" as Nosey

1954 -- "Flight To The North" as Leftover Louie Lyman

1955 -- "Topsy Turvy" as Carni aka Cornelius J. Oliver

1956 -- "Disappearing Lois" as Lefty

1957 -- "Mysterious Cube" as Jody Malone
"Gentle Monster" as a henchman
